What to expect on the way
The road
The Al Hada mountain road climbs steeply with a long series of switchbacks. It is spectacular and it is not the place for a rushed driver.

The rose farms, Al Hada viewpoint, Shubra Palace and the souq. Tell us what you want to see and the driver plans the order.
Waiting
The return fare includes the day. If you want to stay longer than planned, the hourly rate applies after that.
Where we meet you
From your Makkah hotel. Most groups leave in the morning and are back before Maghrib.

Questions about this journey
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. Four people travelling together pay the same SAR 450 as one person travelling alone.
When do I pay?
At the end, to the driver, in cash or by bank transfer. Nothing is taken in advance and there is no card payment.
How long does it take?
Usually 1 hr 30 each way, covering about 90 km each way. Traffic near the Haram and the hour you travel make the difference.
Can I add a stop?
Yes. Tell us before you travel and we quote it in the same message. A stop added on the day is charged at the hourly rate.
Do you have child seats?
Yes, free, but ask when you book so the driver brings the right one. Tell us the age of the child.
