Questions we are asked most
Umrah taxi questions, written from the messages people actually send us and grouped so you can find yours. If it is not here, there is a form at the bottom and a person on WhatsApp at any hour.
The short version
Four answers that cover most of it
Nothing to pay now
No deposit, no card details, no booking fee. You pay the driver at the end of the journey.
The fare is the fare
One figure for the whole vehicle, agreed in writing before you travel and unchanged at the door.
A late flight costs nothing
Send the flight number and we watch the board. Waiting at the airport is already in the price.
A person answers
WhatsApp is read at any hour, because flights land at any hour. Most replies come back within the hour.
Fares and paying
6 questions
Is the published fare the final price?
Yes. The figure in the price list is the whole fare for the whole vehicle. There is no booking fee, no card fee, no service charge and no surcharge added at the door.
Do I pay anything now?
No. There is no deposit, no card payment and no booking fee. You pay the driver in cash or by bank transfer once the journey is finished.
Is the price per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. Four people in a Camry pay the same as one person in a Camry.
Is there a night surcharge?
No. A landing at two in the morning is the same fare as a landing at midday, on every route. A great many Umrah flights arrive overnight and we price for that rather than around it.
Can I have a receipt?
Yes. Create an account and every completed journey carries a printable receipt. We are not registered for VAT, so it is a receipt for your records and not a tax invoice, and it says so.
What if my journey is not on the price list?
Send it anyway. Anything off the published list is priced by hand and sent back to you in writing, usually within the hour, before you commit to anything.
Airports and arrival
4 questions
What happens if my flight is late?
Nothing changes. Send the flight number when you book and we watch the arrival board. Waiting time at the airport is already in the fare, however long customs takes.
Where exactly will the driver be?
Inside the arrivals hall, past baggage reclaim, holding a board with your name on it. Not in the car park and not at the kerb. At Jeddah that is Terminal 1 or the Hajj Terminal, whichever you land at.
How early should I leave for my flight home?
From Makkah to Jeddah Airport, four hours before an international departure and three before a domestic one. From Madinah to Jeddah, seven. Tell us the flight time and we work it back for you.
Can you stop at the meeqat?
Yes. Say so when you book and the driver stops at Masjid Ayesha, Ju'ranah or Dhul Hulayfah and waits while you change and pray. On the Jeddah run the airport meeqat works too.
The vehicle and the driver
6 questions
How much luggage can I bring?
Up to the capacity listed for the vehicle, and nothing is charged by the bag. If you are carrying Zamzam back, say how many containers and we will send something larger.
Are child seats available?
Yes, at no charge, but ask when you book so the driver brings one. Tell us the age of the child and we bring the right kind.
Which languages do your drivers speak?
Arabic across the team, English with most drivers, and Urdu with a large part of it. Ask for one when you book and we assign accordingly.
Do you carry ladies-only groups?
Yes. Ask when you book and the driver will wait with the vehicle at every stop rather than accompanying the group.
Can you take a wheelchair?
A folding chair goes in the boot of the Hiace or the Staria with the seats still up. Tell us when you book so we send one of those rather than a saloon.
Will I know who is collecting me?
The day before you travel we send the driver name, his number and the vehicle. Ask and we send a photograph of the car as well.
Booking and changes
5 questions
How far ahead should I book?
A week is comfortable. In Ramadan and around Hajj, earlier. Same day is often possible, so it is always worth asking.
Can the driver stop for prayer?
Yes. On the Makkah to Madinah run prayer and rest stops are part of the journey, not an extra hour.
Can I add a stop after I have booked?
Tell us before you travel and we quote it in the same message. A stop added on the day is charged at the hourly rate for the vehicle, and the driver will tell you the figure before it starts.
What if I need to cancel?
Tell us and it is cancelled. Nothing was taken from you, so there is nothing to refund and no cancellation fee.
Do you handle groups and Hajj parties?
Yes, up to a full coach of forty four with the luggage in the hold. Send the numbers and the dates and you get one figure for the whole movement rather than several vehicles added together.

How much can you actually bring
The bag counts on the fleet page are for large suitcases. Hand baggage sits on top of that, and Zamzam is the thing that catches people out because five litres each fills a boot faster than anybody expects.
A saloon
Three large cases, or two plus Zamzam for two people.
The Staria
Eight cases with the seats up. This is the family workhorse.
The Hiace
Ten cases, and room left for Zamzam on the Madinah run.
