Hajj transport
Hajj transport, booked ahead of the season
Hajj transport works on the same principle as our Umrah transfers: a driver and vehicle booked in advance, with the fare fixed in writing before you travel. Hajj season is different from an ordinary Umrah trip in one important way: demand for vehicles rises sharply, and access near the holy sites is controlled by the Saudi authorities rather than by any transport company, including us. Booking earlier, and planning for longer waits, matters more in this season than at any other time of year.

What is different in Hajj season
- Demand rises sharply. A very large number of pilgrims are moving between the same points in a short window, so vehicles and drivers are booked further ahead than usual.
- Journey times lengthen. Roads around Makkah, Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat carry far more traffic than during the rest of the year, so a journey that takes ninety minutes outside Hajj season can take considerably longer during it.
How we approach a Hajj booking
We do not change our basic model for Hajj: we still book the right driver and vehicle for your journey and fix the fare with you in writing before you travel. What we ask for earlier, and check more carefully, is the detail of your movement plan.
- Book much further ahead. For an ordinary Umrah transfer, a week’s notice is usually enough. For Hajj season, message us as early as you have your dates, because vehicles are committed earlier in this period than at any other time.
- Tell us your full movement, not just one leg. A Hajj itinerary usually needs several transfers across a short window: an arrival transfer, movement to and from the holy sites, and a departure transfer. Send us all of it in one message so we can plan the vehicles properly.
- Expect a vehicle class recommendation, not just a fare. Because road conditions and access rules change more in this season, we may recommend a different vehicle class or route than we would outside Hajj, and we will explain why.
- Groups are quoted as one movement. For a Hajj party of any size, send the numbers and the dates and we will quote the whole movement as one figure rather than several vehicles added together, in the same way we do for large Umrah groups.
What we cannot promise for Hajj season
Being clear about the limits is more useful than a vague reassurance.
- We cannot guarantee a specific drop-off point inside a restricted zone, because those points are set by the authorities managing the season and can change.
- We do not arrange Hajj visas, accommodation or the Hajj package itself. We are a transport booking service only. See about us for how that model works.

Hajj transport questions
As early as you have confirmed dates. Vehicles for Hajj season are committed well ahead of the season itself, more so than for an ordinary Umrah transfer.
Whatever the fare, it is fixed with you in writing before you travel, in the same way as any other booking.
Yes, up to a full coach of forty four seats with luggage in the hold. Send the numbers and the dates and you get one figure for the whole movement.
Access rules during Hajj season are set by the Saudi authorities and can change. If that affects your journey, we will tell you as soon as we know and adjust the plan with you rather than leaving you to find out at the vehicle.
No. We book transport only. Visas, accommodation and the wider Hajj package are outside what we do.
The Toyota Coaster (19 seats, 15 large cases plus hand bags in the racks) and the 44 seat coach are the two used most for larger Hajj groups. See the vehicle list for the full range.

Plan your Hajj transport early
Send us your dates and the number of pilgrims travelling as soon as you have them. The earlier we know, the more of your movement we can plan and quote in one message.
