Airport transfer

Jeddah Airport to your Jeddah hotel

Not everyone landing at King Abdulaziz International Airport is heading straight on to Makkah. Plenty of travellers are staying in Jeddah itself, whether for business, a stopover, or a day or two before continuing their Umrah trip, and a Jeddah Airport to Jeddah hotel taxi is the short run that gets you there. Umrah Online Taxi meets you inside the arrivals hall with a driver holding your name, at a fare fixed before you land, and covers the return trip back to the airport too when you are ready to fly out.

Camry and Sonata seat 4 with 2 large cases plus 2 hand bags. Staria seats 7 with 6 large cases plus 4 hand bags, Yukon XL seats 7 with 6 large plus 4 hand, Hiace seats 11 with 10 large plus 10 hand, Coaster seats 19 with 15 large plus hand bags in the racks, and the Coach seats 44 with 1 large and 1 hand bag per seat. Large cases are 23 kg, with every seat taken. A Nusuk charge applies to the airport pick-up direction, shown separately from the fare above, since it is a charge that applies to routes starting at Jeddah or Madinah airport. It does not apply to the hotel to airport direction.

Where the driver meets you

Landing at Jeddah Airport, your driver waits inside the arrivals hall past baggage reclaim, holding a board with your name, whichever terminal you land at: Terminal 1, the Hajj and Umrah Terminal in season, or the new Terminal 4, where foreign airlines from the North Terminal are moving from 27 September 2026. Tell us your flight number when you book, and we watch the arrival board, so a delayed landing does not change your fare or leave you searching for transport. Travelling the other way, pick-up is your Jeddah hotel, timed to give you a comfortable margin before your flight.

Journey time from the airport

It is a shorter trip than the airport to Makkah run, since you are not leaving the city at all.

What the fare includes

The fare covers the vehicle for your party only, the driver, fuel, tolls and parking, and luggage up to the stated capacity. Waiting while your flight lands is included at no extra cost, however long customs and baggage take. What is not included is a stop added on the day, waiting well beyond a normal pick-up window on the return direction, or a second vehicle if your group grows.

Which vehicle suits this trip

For one or two travellers with normal luggage, the Camry or Sonata is the simplest choice for this short airport run. Families or business travellers with more bags often prefer the Staria, since the sliding doors make loading easier at a busy arrivals curb than a sedan boot. If you are meeting a larger group arriving on the same flight, the Hiace keeps everyone together for the ride into the city rather than splitting across several cars.

How to book this transfer

Message us with your flight number if you are landing, or your Jeddah hotel and flight time if you are departing. Include how many people and bags are travelling. A fare comes back the same day, and payment is to the driver at the end of the trip, in cash or by bank transfer.

Other ways to get from Jeddah Airport to the city

Ride hailing apps and metered taxis both operate at Jeddah Airport, and for a single traveller comfortable finding a pick-up point in the terminal, either can work. The difference with a booked transfer is that the driver is waiting inside arrivals before you clear customs, with a fixed fare agreed in advance, rather than a queue or an app booking made once you land and connect to wifi. We do not publish what other services charge, only our own fare above.

Tips for this transfer

Send your flight number as soon as you have it, even if your travel date is still weeks away, since it is the detail that lets us track a delay properly. If you are travelling on to Makkah or Madinah after a short stay in Jeddah, mention it when you book, since that onward trip is priced separately and we can quote both together. Night landings are handled the same as any other hour, with no surcharge and no reduced service.

Frequently asked questions
