Where the driver meets you
If you are arriving by train, give us your train number and expected arrival time, and the driver waits at the station arrivals point with a board showing your name. If you are heading to the station to catch a train onward, pick-up is your hotel lobby, timed so you reach the station with room to spare rather than a rush. Near Masjid an-Nabawi itself, some approach roads close to vehicles during prayer times, so the driver will use the nearest open route and the final stretch may be a short walk.
How far is the Madinah station from Masjid Nabawi?
That is shorter than the equivalent trip in Makkah, since Madinah’s layout puts fewer major roads between the station and the mosque. Traffic around Markaziyah at busy hours is the main thing that can add a few minutes either way.
What the fare includes
The fare covers the vehicle for your party only, the driver, fuel, tolls and parking, and luggage up to the stated capacity. Waiting for a delayed train is included at no extra cost, the same as we handle a delayed flight. What is charged separately is a stop added after booking or waiting well past the agreed time, at the hourly rate. This route does not carry the Nusuk charge, since that only applies to pick-ups starting at an airport.
Which vehicle to take
Two travellers with normal luggage are well served by the Camry or Sonata for this short hop. A family arriving together, especially with the extra bags a Haramain train trip tends to bring, is more comfortable in the Staria, which loads more easily than a sedan boot. Groups travelling together on the same train service, such as a tour group split across carriages, often book the Hiace or Coaster so the whole party reaches the hotel together instead of splitting into several taxis.
How to book this transfer
Message the WhatsApp number with your hotel name, the direction you are travelling, and your train number if you have one. Can you meet the train, you ask, and yes, that is exactly how this route works, in the same way we meet a landing flight. Can you do both ends of the train trip, station to hotel on arrival and hotel to station on departure, also yes, and it is often worth booking both in the same message so we can quote them together.
Other ways to cover this trip
Taxis do wait outside the Madinah station, and for one traveller with a single bag that can work well if a car is free when you arrive. The advantage of booking ahead is that the driver already has your name, your train number, and your hotel, so there is nothing to explain on arrival. For a family or group, one pre-arranged vehicle also avoids the risk of being split across two or three separate taxis that leave at different times.
Tips for this transfer
If your train arrives late at night, the service does not change, the driver waits inside the arrivals point at any hour. Mention any Zamzam containers you are carrying so the boot space is planned for. If your onward plan from Madinah is Makkah or Jeddah rather than a hotel stay, tell us when you book so we can quote the whole journey rather than just the station leg.
