Where the driver meets you
Going to the station, pick-up is your hotel lobby, and the driver builds in time for the drop off zone at Makkah station, which can be busy around train departures. Coming from the station, tell us your train number and arrival time when you book, and the driver waits at the arrivals area holding a board with your name, the same way we meet flights at the airport. If your train is delayed, message us the new time and the driver adjusts, since there is no meter running while you wait.
Distance and journey time
Vehicles cannot always approach the Haram entrance directly at prayer times, so on the final stretch the driver takes the nearest open approach, which can add a few minutes to the walk rather than the drive.
What the fare includes
The fare covers the vehicle for your party only, the driver, fuel, tolls and parking, and luggage up to the vehicle’s stated capacity. Waiting for your train, whether it runs early or late, is included at no extra charge in the same way airport waiting is. What is charged separately is a stop added on the day or waiting well beyond the time you gave us, at the standard hourly rate. There is no Nusuk charge on this route, since that charge only applies to pick-ups starting at Jeddah or Madinah airport.
Which vehicle to take
For one or two travellers with a suitcase each, the Camry or Sonata is the simplest and cheapest choice for this short run. If you are arriving as a family with the amount of luggage a Haramain train journey usually brings, the Staria has enough boot space that nobody is holding a bag on their lap for a twenty minute drive. Larger groups arriving together on the same train, for example a Hajj or Umrah group split across several train carriages, are better served by the Hiace or Coaster so everyone reaches the hotel in one trip rather than several taxis leaving at different times.
How to book this transfer
Message us with your hotel name, the direction of travel, and your train number if you have one. For a station to hotel transfer, the train number lets the driver track your arrival the same way we track flights, so a delay costs you nothing. A fare comes back the same day, and payment is to the driver at the end, in cash or by bank transfer.
Other ways to cover this last stretch
Outside the station, metered taxis and ride hailing cars do wait for passengers, and for a single traveller with light bags that can be a reasonable option if one is available. The difference with a booked transfer is that your driver is already there when you arrive, with your name on a board, rather than you joining a queue after a long train journey. For a family or a group with train station luggage, having one driver who already knows you are coming tends to be simpler than finding a car on the spot.

If your train arrives at night, nothing changes about the fare or the service, the driver waits inside the arrivals area the same as any other hour.
