What this is

These terms cover a private transfer booked with Umrah Online Taxi. Sending an enquiry does not book anything. There is an agreement between us once we have written back to you with a fare and a vehicle and you have accepted it.

What we agree to

To carry you at the fare we confirmed in writing, for the whole vehicle, with no booking fee, no card fee, no night surcharge and nothing added for luggage within the stated capacity.

To send the class of vehicle you booked, or a larger one at no extra cost if the one you booked is not available.

To meet you inside the arrivals hall with a board showing your name when you are landing at an airport, and to watch your flight so that a delay does not cost you the car or the fare.

To give you the driver name, his number and the vehicle before the day you travel.

To stop for prayer and for rest on the intercity runs as part of the journey rather than as extra time.

What we ask of you

Give us the real number of passengers and the real number of bags. A vehicle sent for four people with three cases cannot carry seven people with ten, and the person who finds that out at the kerb is you.

Send the flight number if you are landing, and a way of reaching you on the day. Tell us as early as you can if anything changes.

Tell us before you travel if you are carrying Zamzam, if somebody needs a child seat, or if a wheelchair is coming with you. All three change which vehicle we send and none of them costs extra.

The fare and paying it

Every published fare is for the whole vehicle and covers one direction unless the price list marks it as a return. It is not a price per seat.

You pay the driver at the end of the journey, in cash in Saudi Riyal or by bank transfer. Nothing is taken in advance, there is no deposit and no card is asked for at any point.

We are not registered for Value Added Tax, so no tax is charged and none is shown. What you receive is a receipt for your records and not a tax invoice.

Changing or cancelling

Before the day you travel, changing the time, changing the vehicle, changing the number of passengers or cancelling altogether costs nothing. Nothing was taken from you, so there is nothing to refund.

On the day itself, message us and we will do what we can. If the driver has already set off to collect you we may ask you to cover his run, and we will tell you that figure before you agree to it.

Waiting and extra stops

Waiting at the airport while you land and clear customs is in the fare, however long it takes. On a tour, the waiting time stated for that tour is in the fare too.

A stop you add on the day, or hours beyond a tour once the vehicle has waited its time, is charged at the published hourly rate for that vehicle. The driver will tell you the figure before the extra time starts.

Things outside our hands

Vehicle access close to both Harams is restricted at prayer times and during busy seasons by the authorities, not by us. Where the driver cannot reach your door he will take the nearest permitted approach and tell you where he is.

We are not responsible for a delay caused by traffic, by weather, by road closures or by a decision of the authorities, though we will always keep you told and get you there.

Please check the vehicle for your belongings before you leave it. We will do what we can to return something left behind but we cannot promise to recover it.

Conduct in the vehicle

There is no smoking in any vehicle, including by the driver. Seat belts are to be worn. A driver may end a journey where somebody is behaving in a way that puts the vehicle or anybody in it at risk.

Reviews you write

A review can only be written by an account holder about a journey we have driven and marked complete, and each journey carries one. We read every review before it appears and we publish the ones we disagree with as readily as the ones we do not. Ask and we will take yours down.

If something goes wrong

Tell us. The contact page has a form, an email address and a WhatsApp number that is read at any hour. Say what happened and quote your reference, and a person will answer you.

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
